You’ll want to fly into this airport when visiting San Jose or other areas in the south bay. This is also a great option for those spending most of their time in Monterey, Santa Cruz, or Carmel.

Don’t fly into this airport if you are staying in the city. It’s about an hour or more away and the transportation cost to get to the city will eat into any savings you get from flying into this airport. The cost of a shuttle from this airport to the city is around $85 per person (+ tip!).
